Elon Musk’s transgender daughter has filed a request to change her name in accordance with her new gender identity and because “I no longer live with or be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Petition for both change of name and fresh birth certificate showing the same new gender identityy was filed in April in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica. This recently came to the fore in some online media reports.

His new name was modified in the online document. His mother is Justin Wilson, who divorced Musk in 2008.
There was no further explanation for the rift between Musk’s daughter and her father, the Tesla and SpaceX chief, which is attempting to acquire the social media platform Twitter for $44 billion.
Neither the attorney representing Musk nor the Tesla media office immediately responded to an email from Reuters requesting comment on Monday.
In May, nearly a month after the name and gender change document was filed, Musk declared his support for the Republican Party, whose elected representatives support legislation limiting transgender rights in states across the country.
“I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an aesthetic nightmare,” Musk tweeted in 2020 on the issue of transgender people choosing preferred pronouns.
