Elon Musk Spotted Driving Tesla Cybertruck on Public Roads: Watch Video

The Tesla Cybertruck was recently spotted driving on public roads. It turns out that the person driving the long-awaited electric vehicle was Tesla CEO Elon Musk himself. The video of the billionaire in the ‘to be launched’ electric pickup truck was shared on social media and is now going viral on the internet. This comes after Musk announced that the Cybertruck is “very close” to its production design. The announcement made by the CEO of the company can perhaps be supported by this video of him rolling in a truck on public roads.

In his tweet on Friday, Elon Musk said, “Yes. There are still many small tweaks to make it better (and the side mirrors are removable by the owner), but it’s very close to the production design.” It is worth mentioning that the Tesla Cybertruck was first unveiled in November 2019 and is yet to be launched. Comparing the recent behind-the-scenes footage with earlier photos, it’s easy to say that the design changes to the electric pickup truck are noticeable, and perhaps these are the “little tweaks” Musk mentioned.

In addition to the recent spy shots, there are also shots of the trucks that were leaked earlier to show the Cybertruck’s bed capacity. It shows the electric vehicle carrying 4 large truck tires in its bed. At its peak, the electric vehicle is going through a number of changes before it is finally launched.

The Tesla Cybertruck has been one of the most eagerly awaited electric vehicles in the world since 2019. To raise the anticipation even higher, Musk is revealing some of the Cybertruck’s features, such as that it may have amphibious qualities as well. Also, being the first pickup truck developed by an electric vehicle manufacturer, it is expected to boost business for the company.

However, the Tesla pickup truck business will not be easy in the US market given the competition from other heavyweights like the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T and GMC Hummer EV electric pickup truck.
