11 tourists lost their lives and eight others were injured when lightning struck near Amer Fort.
The incident happened on a Sunday when these tourists were enjoying a pleasant evening – some were busy picking up. Others chatting while taking selfies when they were hit. About twenty-seven people were present at the watch tower and the wall of the fort at the time of the incident.
