The most awaited film Ek Villain Returns is ready for release. On Saturday, the makers of the film dropped yet another melodious song. The new track Shamat is voiced by Tara Sutaria, who also wore the singer’s cap for the film. It also marks the musical debut of the B-town diva.
Shamat is the rock anthem of the year that will make you swoon. The song featuring Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria showcases excerpts from their love story and also leaves the audience curious to know what might happen next for the audience.
Arjun wrote on his Twitter space, “The Rock Anthem of the Year is finally yours! Shamat song out. Tune in and let’s vibe on this together. Ek Villain Returns, in theaters this Villain’s Day – 29th July 2022.”
Fans and followers showered praises on the comment section of the post. Tara even shared a small excerpt from the song on her Instagram feed. The caption of the video read, “My first song for the film and rock anthem of the year is finally yours! Shamat song out. Tune in and let’s vibe on this together!”
Talking about the song, apart from Tara Sutaria, Ankit Tiwari has sung it. The music is composed by Ankit and the beautiful lyrics are penned by Prince Dubey.
Apart from Tara and Arjun, EK Villain Returns also stars John Abraham Disha Patani in important roles. The trailer has created panic in the city after receiving positive response from the audience.
The film is directed by Mohit Suri. It is the sequel of Ek Villain in which Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead role. The upcoming film is all set to release in theaters on July 29.
