Edward Bluement bares it all for My Lady Jane.
International actor Edward Bluement, known for his roles in Killing Eve and Sex Education, will next be seen in My Lady Jane. The series is releasing today, June 27.
English actor Edward Bluement will be seen playing Lord Guildford Dudley, Lady Jean Grey’s husband, in My Lady Jane. Set to release on June 27 on Amazon Prime Video, Edward has an interesting role in the series. While his scenes with his co-star Emily Bader tease steamy chemistry, Edward is going to have everyone talking with his bare-it-all scene in the show. The trailer had already teased the moment. Ahead of the series’ release, Edward spoke with News18 Showsha about the scene.
The Sex Education star said that the scene was shot smoothly thanks to the intimacy coordinator present on the sets along with the director, cast and crew. Edward said he felt safe on sets while filming the scene. “We had an amazing intimacy coordinator. I think intimacy coordinator is so important for so many reasons,” he told us.
“Everything was checked with me first, everything that I wanted to do, we did it my way and that made me feel very safe on sets. I felt comfortable to do that scene. I think it is very important that we make actors feel comfortable in these situations and we achieved that,” the Killing Eve star added.

My Lady Jane is created by Gemma Burgess and is based on the novel of the same name, written by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows. The series puts the spotlight on the British queen, Lady Jane Grey, who held the throne for just nine days. She is often referred to as the ‘Nine Days’ Queen.’ While the real story is tragic, the makers of the series add a creative spin to the tale.
While the series shows Lady Jane crowned as the Queen, there are more problems in her way that the former Queen of England had when she ruled for nine days. Besides Edward and Emily, the show also stars Jordan Peters, Dominic Cooper, Anna Chancellor, Rob Brydon, Jim Broadbent, Henry Ashton, Isabella Brownson, Robyn Betteridge,
Kate O’Flynn, Abbie Hern, Máiréad Tyers, Joe Klocek and Michael Workeye.
