ED summons Yami Gautam in money laundering case

Bollywood According to news agency ANI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned actress Yami Gautam. The ED has asked Yami Gautam to appear before the federal agency on July 7 to record her statement in connection with alleged irregularities under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). This is reportedly the second time the actress has been summoned by the ED. According to an India Today report, the alleged breach “involved a suspicious foreign exchange transaction in his private bank account which he did not inform the authorities about.”

Meanwhile, the actress recently tied the knot with director Aditya Dhar in the presence of her close family members. Yami announced her wedding on June 4 with a stunning picture of herself and Aditya.

Sharing the picture, Yami wrote, ‘With the blessings of our family, today we have tied the knot of an intimate marriage. Being very private people, we celebrated this happy occasion with our family. We seek your blessings and best wishes as we begin the journey of love and friendship.”

On the work front, Yami Gautam was last seen in Punit Khanna’s Ginni Weds Sunny. She shared screen space with Vikrant Massey in the film which released on Netflix. He has acted in films like Bala, Heyo, Yuddhaam, Badlapur, Sanam Re, Kaabil and Uri: The Surgical Strike, which was Aditya’s debut. His upcoming projects include Bhoot Police and Dasvi.
