Grammy-winning singer Ed Sheeran “nearly killed” famed English singer-songwriter Elton John during the shooting of his festive music video after kicking the “big metal bell” and it came close to hitting his friend on the head. He said: “It’s always been the type of thing I thought I’d do when I was 60. My manager said he would retire if I made a Christmas album. I’d always work with[Elton]Wanted to do it and it made the most sense.”
The ‘Shivers’ singer had previously shared that John calls her every day and was considered for a festive single during a chat on Christmas Day last year.
He said: “Elton called me on Christmas Day to say Merry Christmas. He called me on Christmas Day, and he said, ‘Step in Christmas’ is number six on the charts, and I’m 74, and I Still doing it f****** chart hits, that’s great! I want to do one more Christmas song, will you do it with me?’ ,
