The ED on Monday questioned senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi in connection with the money laundering probe in the National Herald case. Officials gave this information.
He said the 79-year-old leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha has been summoned to appear before the federal agency in connection with the probe.
Officials said his statement would be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) as the agency wanted to understand certain issues in the investigation.
