ED issues fresh summons to Jacqueline Fernandez in money laundering case
Enforcement Directorate on Saturday (October 16) issued fresh summons to Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez To appear before the Delhi office on Monday, October 18 for questioning in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case. The ED has issued fresh summons to the actress after she abstained from questioning in the case involving thug Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacqueline was supposed to appear before the investigating agency at 11 am today, but she could not.
For the uninformed, the case pertains to an FIR registered by the Delhi Police in connection with an extortion racket allegedly carried out by scamsters Sukesh Chandrashekhar, Leena Maria-Paul and others, in which several bigwigs were involved. The central probe agency had already recorded his statement and he is being called again as a witness for further investigation.
Chandrashekhar was arrested in 2017 from TTV Dinakaran for allegedly bribing Election Commission officials to get a ‘two leaves’ election symbol for the AIADMK. sasikala Partition in the by-election to the RK Nagar assembly seat in Tamil Nadu.
