Eco-warriors dump three tons of manure on top of Jeremy Clarkson’s Range Rover

This is the moment Ant and December’s Saturday Night Takeaway prank Jeremy Clarkson did by using eco-mob actors to dump three tons of mushroom manure on top of his car.

Clarkson became the TV pair’s latest victim as they filmed their stunned reaction at the star’s Diddley Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire – where actors acting as protesters cheered, waved placards and held a banner: ‘Clay Looks to Clarkson, not Clarkson.’

Police today confirmed that they did not take any action as it was a joke filmed for a TV show.

Clarkson arrived at the farm on Tuesday morning with her partner Lisa Hogan to speak to so-called protesters who surrounded their farm shop with graffiti declaring ‘Save our field, save the earth’.

The staggering 61-year-old star, wearing a dark green hat and mask, was thrown onto her bright dark green Range Rover by a digger.

Another actor can be seen shouting at the vehicle’s roof and raising his fists in the air, while one leans out of it to help the excavator move towards its target.

As an avalanche of mushroom compost lands on the car, Clarkson briefly turns to talk to his partner.

A few seconds later, Clarkson approaches the Range Rover with a hand in his pocket and bends over to pick up a piece of what was thrown to examine it, promptly throwing it back onto the pile.

An eyewitness who shot Clarkson’s car and filmed the nude protest told MailOnline: ‘It was like a Monty Python movie, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

‘First a naked man was being chased by a policeman and then this digger appears out of nowhere and throws all this stuff all over the car. I was really shocked that Clarkson didn’t say a word that didn’t sound like her at all.

‘He usually has an opinion on everything, but he stands there because it all falls on his car.’

The Clarksons are embroiled in an ongoing battle over their plans for the future of the farm, which was the setting for the Amazon series Clarkson Farms.

He opened the farm shop last year to sell goods and food produced at his Diddley Squat Farm, which he bought back in 2008.

Following complaints from neighbors about increased traffic and driving by visitors to the store, Clarkson revealed that he wanted to build a restaurant in an old sheepskin shed on his land.

His plans angered his already disgruntled neighbors, with Clarkson writing about his reaction in his latest Sunday Times column.

The presenter said that her suggestion ‘went down like a shower of sick people with some red trousers in my local village.’

Despite the backlash, Clarkson continued to speak about the victory over further council planners, saying: ‘It was a (mostly) polite battle between the red-tractor movement and the red trousers, and I think I did well enough. . .’

Series two of Clarkson’s Farm is due for release later this year.
