Earthquake of magnitude 3.2 hits Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh

New Delhi: An earthquake of 3.2 magnitude occurred in the early hours of Saturday (January 14) in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. The National Center for Seismology took to Twitter to inform about the tremor felt 22 km east of Dharamshala at around 5.17 am today.

National Center for Seismology said, “An earthquake of magnitude 3.2 occurred on January 14, 2023 at 05:17:15 IST, Latitude: 32.25 & Long: 76.56, Depth: 5 km Location: 22 km east of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.” ,

Earlier, on January 8, at around 11.12 pm, an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 occurred 10 km away from Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir.
