An earthquake of 6.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit Nepal on Friday with intense tremors felt across northern India including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. These latest tremors were the third in the series of earthquakes that residents of Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, and Faridabad felt since October.

People living in neighboring districts of Maharajgang, Gorakhpur, and Champaran also left their homes.
The National Centre for Seismology reported its occurrence at 23:32:54 IST with a depth of 10 kilometers at the epicenter.
