Chandigarh: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Dushyant Chautala Had a meeting with Carolyn Rowett, the British Deputy High Commissioner in her office in Haryana Civil SecretariatChandigarh on Friday. The discussion focused on India-UK relations and various possibilities to strengthen Haryana as an emerging growth model Sectors.
British Deputy High Commissioner, Carolyn Rowett inquired about Haryana Aerospace and defense policy and e-vehicle policy about which the Deputy Chief Minister shared that the state has a futuristic outlook for growth and development and is working on drafting Haryana’s aerospace and defense policy, e-vehicle policy and other such policies.
He said that our aim is to ensure inclusive growth, for which we are accelerating progress in rural areas as well as in urban areas of Haryana. He said the draft policies have exciting prospects that cover land and infrastructure subsidy benefits, pre and post approvals, power, property, tax and other financial benefits.
Our government is committed to make Haryana an investment destination for industries, for which the government is working tirelessly towards making it a reality. Work is going on on many projects like Flying Training School through PPP. He said that we are already one of the leading manufacturers in the automobile sector and with these progressive policies, we will be leading in other sectors as well.
Caroline Rowett assured broad support for the state’s upcoming projects, especially in the e-vehicle policy, for which several inputs would be shared before the final draft policy. He said that the futuristic approach of the Haryana Government was very impressive and appreciated the policies formulated.
