Duo duped job seekers in a private airline, arrested Noida News – Times of India

Noida: Police has arrested two people for duping many people on the pretext of getting jobs in a private airline. Officials gave this information on Friday. The accused used to steal data of customers from different job search portals and contact people who were in need of jobs.
Shyamjit Singh, ACP cyber cell said.
“Our team attended to an incoming call on his phone, where the caller, who was a resident of Himachal Pradesh, revealed that he had received several calls from different numbers and the callers took 7 lakhs from him to get him. Took Rs. Job in private airline,” Singh said.

Both the men were taken into custody and during interrogation, they revealed that they had started a company and duped people in the name of giving them jobs in private airlines.
Police said that a case has been registered against both the accused under sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code.
