The first merit list for DU UG 2024 admissions will be made public on August 16 at 5 PM. The applicants have until August 16 to 18 to accept their seats.

Delhi University will close the application process for the Common Seat Allocation System for undergraduate admission (CSAS UG) 2024. According to the admission division, the Phase 1 and Phase 2 registration window will conclude today, August 7. Students may apply till 4:59 PM via the official website, ugadmission.uod.ac.in, in order to choose the preferred colleges and courses.

Until August 9, up to 5 PM there will be an opportunity to modify the college and course sequence. Students’ choices will be automatically locked after the deadline. The first merit list for DU UG 2024 admissions will be made public on August 16 at 5 PM. The applicants have until August 16 to 18 to accept their seats. The candidates’ online applications will then be checked and approved by the colleges.

According to media reports, over 93,500 students have completed phase two of the admission process by selecting their college and courses. “A total of 300,090 candidates have registered so far for the 71,000 seats on the CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) portal,” an official told news agency ANI.

DU UG Admission 2024: How to Apply

Step 1. Visit du.ac.in, the official website of Delhi University.

Step 2. Select the registration link found under the undergraduate category on the homepage.

Step 3. After a new page opens, you can register and fill it up with the required details.

Step 4. After registering, log in to your account.

Step 5. Fill out the application and submit it with the required charges.

Step 6. Click the submit button and download the form.

Step 7. Keep a hard copy of the same for future use.

DU UG Admission 2024: Application Fee

The students from unreserved, OBC-NCL and EWS category will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250. While candidates from SC/ST or PwBD category have to pay Rs 100.

Students must select their courses and colleges in the correct order. The list should be arranged in the same manner down the list. In addition to allocating seats based on student preference and the quantity of seats in institutions, merit will also be determined by the CUET score. If one student has a higher score than another and has prioritised one college over the other, the student with the higher score will still be able to secure a seat.
