During an investigation, it was found that the developer was misleading the investors by hiding facts about permissions and approvals. It was also found that the developer was promoting illegal farmhouse colony through social media to lure investors.
Officials said the team, with the help of earthmovers in the presence of police officials, demolished three farmhouses, road network, boundary wall and guard room. “The department is getting details about the builders and will recommend an FIR against them. Even if the farmhouses are sold, the department will obtain the details from the revenue department and file complaints against the wrongdoers,” the official said.
