Drone seen near Indo-Pak border in Punjab

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday spotted a drone near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Gurdaspur area, news agency ANI reported. A senior BSF official told the agency that the drone was sighted on the intervening night of December 20 at 12:30.

The BSF officer spotted the drone and fired 5 rounds at it. After this the drone returned to the Pakistan side of the border.

“BSF personnel fired five rounds when the patrolling team heard a humming sound, but it managed to return to Pakistan territory,” the officer said.

The search operation is going on in the area.
