Driverless Police Car Mishap: Man Hit in Madhya Pradesh Incident

A sanitation worker collided with a police vehicle rolling down a slope in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, leading to the arrest of the police officer who owned the car and his colleague.

A video that has gone viral on social media shows a parked police SUV suddenly rolling down a slope and hitting a sanitation worker who was clearing the road. The car then crashes into a wall before coming to a stop.

Deori Superintendent of Police Rohit Dongre, who was seen sitting on the driver’s seat in the video, got out of the vehicle and rushed to the aid of the injured employee. Another attending staff took him to a nearby hospital.

The worker suffered head injuries and scratches on his arms, legs, and stomach.

Anand Singh, head of Dongre and women’s police station, was sacked for negligence.

According to police sources, the incident took place after Dongre and Singh returned from training and had dinner at a hotel in the Rajghat area of ​​Sagar.

The police also said that the jeep belonging to Dongre had no driver when Singh was sitting next to him in the passenger seat.

Further investigation is underway.
