Drishyam 2 Box Office Collections: The Ajay Devgn film which also stars Akshaye Khanna, Tabu, Shriya Saran and Ishita Dutta is enjoying a successful run at the ticket window. The film is doing great business and has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark. If it continues at this pace, the film is expected to surpass Brahmastra and become the most successful film of the year.

Despite being a new release, Drishyam 2 is doing well at the box office. Varun Dhawan and critic i say2015’s creature comedy Bhediya was expected to hamper the collections, however, irrespective of new releases, the sequel to the 2015 film has earned over Rs 150 crore.
“Drishyam 2 is unstoppable as the collection on Tuesday remains at the same level as Monday with collections in the 5-5.25 crore nett range. This would have taken the film to over 150 crore nett with a twelve day tally of over 151 crore nett is,” reported Box Office India.

‘Drishyam 2’ is a sequel to the 2015 film which was a remake of the hit Malayalam superhit film of the same name with the superstar himself Mohan Lal in the lead role. 2015’s ‘Drishyam’ was directed by late Nishikant Kamat, who passed away in 2020 due to cirrhosis.
The Ajay Devgn-starrer film was about a loving husband and father who tries his best to protect his family from police investigation after a police officer’s son goes missing. What happened after the disturbance is the story of Drishyam 2.
The sequel is directed by Abhishek Pathak, son of producer Kumar Mangat Pathak, and has music by southern sensation Devi Sri Prasad.
