It is almost certain that after 30 days, Draupadi Murmu will be the next President of the country. Yesterday, that is, on Tuesday, the BJP and its allies decided the name of Draupadi. These things were happening in Delhi, but then Draupadi was at her home in Mahuldiha, her village in Mayurbhanj, Odisha. Together they had daughter Itishree.

Itishree told that a call came in the evening, probably from Prime Minister Modi. Whatever he may have said, but the mother fell silent after that. There were tears in her eyes, she could not say anything. After a while, she just said thank you and that too with great difficulty.

‘This moment is like a dream for mother’
On Bhaskar’s request, Itishree got Draupadi to talk, for just 15 seconds. Draupadi said that this moment is historic for me, tribals and women. Later Itishree told that the mother told him that it was like a dream. The journey from the hut to the top post can only be a dream. The people of the tribal community do not even see such a dream.
