Doctor Strange screenwriter C. Robert Kargil praises SS Rajamouli’s RRR: ‘Weird blockbuster I saw’

SS Rajamouli has gained another international fan following, this time, it is from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. On Monday, Dr. Strange screenwriter C. Robert Kargil revealed that he is inspired by Rajamouli’s masterpiece. After a long delay, RRR was released earlier this year. The film starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan Alia Bhatt And Ajay Devgn playing lead roles.

Taking to Twitter, Kargil tweeted the poster of RRR and wrote, “Friends came last night to initiate me into the cult of RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) and I am here to report that I am now completely I’m, in fact, deeply member. This is the craziest, craziest, craziest blockbuster I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure Jess and I are watching it again this week.

When a Twitter user asked him if the film was really worth the hype, Kargil said, “Yes. I know it sounds like people are exaggerating RRR, but really, you don’t.” It’s a level of spectacle that defies details. It just starts getting tough and never giving up again.”

Earning over Rs 223 crore worldwide, RRR now holds the record for the biggest opening day opening in Indian cinema and the legendary director broke his own record held by Baahubali: The Conclusion, which opened on its first day. Worldwide did a business of Rs 217 crore. RRR is the highest grossing Indian film since the pandemic began and the third highest grossing film overall.

The fictional story of Indian revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju played by Ram Charan and Komaram Bheem played by Jr NTR – is set in the 1920s. SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus was produced by DVV Danayya’s DVV Entertainments.
