Dinesh Karthik likens ‘neighbor’s wife’ to cricket bat during commentary

London: Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has started his commentary career with Sky Sports. He was first seen commentating during the World Test Championship Final (WTC Final). His recent comments during the second ODI between England and Sri Lanka caused quite a ruckus on social media.

He was on air on Sky Sports while England were chasing 242. He made a controversial statement that the neighbor’s wife “always feels better”.

Karthik was reportedly talking about how batsmen don’t like their own bats. “Batters don’t like bats and bats – they go hand in hand. Most batsmen don’t like their bat. They either like the other person’s bat or… Bats are like neighbour’s wife, they always feel better We do.”
