Diljit Dosanjh has enjoyed an exceptional year with hit film releases and international music tours. As Diljit relishes his current success, he is also preparing for more exciting projects. Recently, Diljit Dosanjh unveiled the first poster for his upcoming Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3 and to the delight of his fans, he also announced the film’s release date.
Diljit Dosanjh shared a motion poster for Sardaar Ji 3 on Instagram, announcing, “SARDAAR JI 3 Releasing Worldwide 27th June 2025.” The poster features Diljit’s shadow, with a background audio clip of him correcting someone who calls him “Sardaar” instead of “Sardaar Ji.” The film is co-produced by White Hill Studios and Storytime Productions.
Fans are quite excited about the new film and can’t wait to watch their favourite star on screen once again. One of them said, “Diljit is the ultimate sardaarji,” while another said, “Last movie still going on and another movie coming. Diljit Dosanjh can do it only.” Others extended their heartfelt wishes for the success of the new project. A fan wrote, “Best wishes for next movie Sardar ji 3 keep going.”
The first installment of the Sardaar franchise was launched in 2015, starring Mandy Takhar and Neeru Bajwa alongside Diljit. It was directed by Rohit Jugraj. Sardaar Ji 2 was later released in 2016, where Diljit Dosanjh played three different roles. It also starred Monica Gill and Sonam Bajwa.
Earlier this year, while promoting his film, Jatt and Juliet 3 in Chandigarh, Diljit spoke about his gradual success in the industry. He stated, “It’s not overnight fame. You can never make it happen in one day. I have been in the industry for almost 22 years and have worked day and night to stand where I am today. This cost me a lot of things, I couldn’t give my family much time. All those years of hard work have now paid rich dividends, but I have more things planned. Just wait and watch.”
Diljit Dosanjh was last seen in Jagdeep Sidhu’s Jatt & Juliet 3 alongside Neeru Bajwa, Jasmin Bajwa, Rana Ranbir, B. N. Sharma, and Nasir Chinyoti, among others. Prior to this, he starred in Imtiaz Ali’s immensely successful biographical drama, Amar Singh Chamkila.
