Mumbai: The news of the demise of veteran actor Dilip Kumar shook the entire film industry. The actor breathed his last earlier today and the news of his death was confirmed by his family friend Faisal Farooqui.
While many celebrities are paying tribute to the late actor on their social media, stars like Dharmendra, Anil Kapoor and others visited Dilip Kumar’s house after his death. The late actor was taken to his home after his demise today.
Shah Rukh Khan, who was very close to Dilip Kumar, also reached the ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ actor’s house to pay tribute to him and offer condolences to Saira Banu. Shah Rukh was seen reaching Dilip Kumar’s house with wife Gauri Khan.
Karan Johar is also seen arriving at Dilip Kumar’s house for his last visit.
Meanwhile, a police team is seen heading towards Dilip Kumar’s bungalow for his cremation which will be done with full state honours.
The news of Dilip Kumar’s passing was confirmed in a statement which read, “With a heavy heart and deep sorrow, I announce the passing of my beloved Dilip Saab a few minutes ago. We are from God and we are on his side.” Come back. – Faisal Farooqui’.
