Digvijay uses termite analogy to attack RSS; VD Savarkar is said to have supported the two-nation theory like the Muslim League

Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Monday used a “termite” analogy to target the BJP’s ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which he said was damaging the entire system. Speaking to reporters here in Madhya Pradesh, Singh also targeted Uttar Pradesh. State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that his speeches were only full of divisive references like Hindu-Muslim and cremation-graveyard.

Attacking the RSS, the Congress Rajya Sabha MP said that it is like a “dimak” (termite) that silently damages a house or household items. Similarly, the RSS also acts intelligently and harms the entire system. “I know that I will be severely abused for comparing RSS with termites. But, I have not called RSS a termite. I have said that termites are the character of the ideology that silently damages the entire system in the country. ,” said Singh.

Speaking about the upcoming elections in BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh, he said, “You (media) people must be listening to the speeches given by Yogi Adityanath. Have you heard phrases other than Hindu-Muslim, Hindustan-Pakistan or cremation-kabristan (crematorium and graveyard) in them? Singh alleged that a false story is being created to spread the message that Hinduism is in danger. “This has been done to promote the fascist ideology and earn money through political positions,” he claimed.

Singh said that even during the hundred years of rule of Muslims and “Christian Britishers”, Hinduism never faced any threat. Speaking at a seminar organized by the State Press Club here, Singh said that the concept of Hindutva is being used as one. Political weapon and it has nothing to do with Hinduism.

He claimed that VD Savarkar wrote in his book in 1923 that “It is wrong to consider Hinduism as Hindutva. To treat Hindutva as Hinduism would be the biggest mistake not only for Hindus but for the whole country,” They said. Singh claimed that the partition proposal under the two-nation theory was supported by the Muslim League as well as Savarkar.

Referring to the latest cases related to “Bully Bai” and “Sully Deals” hate apps, Singh said that the venom of bigotry is being infused into young minds through internet and social media.
