Hubballi: Photographers play a vital role in capturing memories of one’s life and act like a bridge between nature and human beings, said district minister Shankar Patil Munenakoppa, The two-day expo is being held between 10am and 6.30pm at Hubballi-Dharwad Multipurpose Exhibition Centre, APMC, Amargol, here.
Inaugurating Digi Photo Expo organized by Hubballi Photo and Videographers’ Association and Karnataka Photo and Videographers’ Association here on Saturday, Munenakoppa said photographers have also played thier role in documenting social happenings, including science-related incidents like Chandrayan. “However, they have not got their due. Deespite facing many problems, they are delivering their services,” he noted.
Vinay Javali, president of Karnatak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the expo will boost the photography-videography sector in north Karnataka. “It’s attracting the attention of veteran photographers and industrialists from many states,” he observed. Ten senior photographers of north Karnataka were felicitated on the occasion. KPVA president Benjamin, HPVA president Kiran Bakale and others were present.
