Actor Diganth Manchle, who sustained a neck injury while doing an adventure activity with family in Goa, has now been discharged from the hospital. Doctors have advised the actor to take some rest and stop shooting for some time.
The actor was given first aid in Goa. Later, he was shifted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore. Vidyadhar S., HOD and Consultant Spine Surgeon were monitoring Dignath’s neck injuries. At Manipal Hospital, the actor underwent a 3-hour long surgery. The doctors also said that Digant’s health is improving.
Dignath Manchle is married to Aindrita Ray. The actor’s father-in-law told The Times of India, “Yesterday in Goa, he was doing some sporting activity. He was on the trampoline and suddenly he fell on his back. This is slightly more serious because of the displacement of the cervical vertebrae. His fingers started going numb and since he did not have proper equipment, he thought that they would transfer him to Bangalore. ,
He further added, “It was not appropriate to shift him to Bangalore in this condition. I believe some arrangement was made by the Goa government and they arranged special planes for him. They are on their way to Bangalore now. They HAL will land at the airport and directly transfer them to Manipal.They will look into the condition and probably do surgery today or tomorrow morning.
On Wednesday, Hospital Manipal issued a statement on Diganth Manchale’s health. “Diganth is recovering well and will likely be discharged on Wednesday,” the press release said.
Earlier, the actor’s wife Diganth Aindrita said, “Diganth is slowly recovering. Also, the doctor has already said that Diganth is ready for the summer salt.
Actor Diganth Manchle’s upcoming film is Gaalipata 2, which will release in August.
