Chiranjeevi made his debut in the film industry playing the role of Narasimha in the 1978 film Pranaam Kharedu.

After acting in one episode, Chiranjeevi left the serial to seek more opportunities in the film industry.
Later, he made his debut in films playing the role of Narasimha in the 1978 film Pranam Kharidu. Directed by K Vasu, the film was a box office success, and Chiranjeevi’s acting skills were also appreciated by the movie goers.
Chiranjeevi is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Bhola Shankar directed by Meher Ramesh. Produced by AK Entertainments and Creative Commercials, Bhola Shankar will hit the big screens on 11 August. It tells the story of a brother who hunts down the criminals responsible for harming his sister.
Actors like Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh and Sushant will also be in lead roles in this film. Tamannaah is playing the leading lady opposite Megastar (as Chiranjeevi is known). Keerthy Suresh will play the role of Chiranjeevi’s sister. Mehti Swara Sagar has given the music of this film. Dudley is the cinematographer, while Venkatesh of Marthand edited the film.
As per reports, a special comedy track is also being directed which will also be the main attraction of Bhola Shankar. Reportedly, the track will feature Chiranjeevi, Vennela Kishore, Hyper Adi and Sathya. The motive behind this track is to avoid making Bhola Shankar’s story overly melodious.
