Actor Dhanush recently unveiled the title of his upcoming film with director Arun Matheswaran. While releasing the teaser video, he announced Captain Miller, a period film from the 1930s–40s. The teaser shows the superstar riding a bike with his face covered with a dupatta. He had taken a gun with him. Sharing the teaser, he wrote, ‘This is going to be very exciting. Excited about Captain Miller.” The film will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Captain Miller is presented by TG Thiagarajan of Satya Jyothi Films and produced by Senthil Thiagarajan and Arjun Thiagarajan. The film is co-produced by G Saravanan and Sai Siddhartha. Director Arun Matheswaran has made some critically acclaimed films and Satya Jyothi Films is credited with setting benchmarks in the Tamil film industry.
Madan Karki, who has worked in films like the “Baahubali” franchise, “RRR” and “Pushpa”, is writing the dialogues for the Tamil version of the film. Other technicians include GV Prakash Kumar scoring music, Shreyas Krishna handling cinematography, Nagooran taking care of editing, while T. Ramalingam is the art director.

“When Arun Matheswaran narrated the script to me and Dhanush, we were both excited, and wanted to execute on a large scale. I have always admired director Arun’s unconventional approach and exceptional filmmaking methods to deliver extraordinary films. When he narrated the script, I was very impressed with his thought and his gripping screenplay writing.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is all set to make his Hollywood debut with this film. Netflix The film The Gray Man. Starring Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling and Ana de Armas, the film will release on July 22.
