Dhanush spotted shooting in Tirupati.

Dhanush was filming for D51 in Tirupati recently. However, the Police had to stop the shooting due to the traffic it was causing.

Dhanush has landed in trouble after his film’s shooting schedule caused a massive traffic issue in Tirupati. The Tamil actor is currently filming for his upcoming movie, dubbed as D51, in the town of Tirupati. A video showed the actor dressed in rugged clothes while he sported a messy look. The team was shoooting an outdoor scene in what seems to be a market area. Given that the set up was in the middle of the road, it caused traffic problems.

In the video, fans were seen crowding up by the shoot location in the hope to catch a glimpse of Dhanush. Owing to the shoot and the crowd gathered, the police diverted devotees headed to the temple into a different direction. The cased an inconvenience for locals and left several people angry.

India Today reported that several angry devotees reached out to the local Police officers to complaint about the issue. The Police stepped in to halt the shoot. It is worth noting that the makers of Dhanush’s film had obtained permission to shoot.

Even though the D51 makers obtained permission to shoot in advance, the municipal police of Tirupati stopped the shooting. D51 will have a special appearance of superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna in the movie. Rashmika Mandanna will be playing the role of lead heroine in the movie. This movie will mark the Telugu debut of Dhanush. The actor was last seen in the movie Captain Miller. It was directed by Arun Matheswaran. Dhanush is also busy with his second directorial movie which is tentatively titled D50. The film stars an ensemble cast of SJ Suryah, Dhanush, Nithiya Menon and Sundeep Kishan.
