DGCA lifts ban on Boeing 737 MAX aircraft after two and a half years

New Delhi: Aviation regulator of India DGCA On Thursday, after nearly two and a half years, the ban on commercial flight operations of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft was lifted. In its order dated August 26, 2021, the DGCA stated that the operation of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft is permitted “only on satisfaction of the applicable requirements for return to service”.

A senior DGCA official confirmed that the ban on commercial flight operations of 737 MAX aircraft has been lifted.
