Devon Conway of Chennai Super Kings hits 1000th six in 2023 Indian Premier League

This was the 13th six hit by Conway in IPL 2023 and 112th by the CSK batsman. Shivam Dubey is the Chennai player who has hit the most sixes for his team this season. Dubey has hit 30 sixes in 14 matches.
Overall, Royal Challengers Bangalore pair of Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell lead the list of players with most sixes this season. Du Plessis has so far hit 36 sixes in 14 matches while Maxwell and Dubey have hit 30-30 sixes.
Overall, 110 players have hit at least one six in IPL 2023 with 14 Sunrisers Hyderabad players clearing the ropes for at least six, the maximum from a team. Only nine players have managed to achieve the feat this season, the least among the 10 teams in the fray.

CSK batting coach Michael Hussey praised the opening pair of Ruturaj and Conway at the mid-innings break.
“They have had a special relationship, complement each other well and also bring the right-left arm angle, the pairing has worked well for us,” he added.
Ruturaj Gaikwad, who was adjudged Player of the Match, said that he lives around HSI’s opening partner Devon Conway.
He had 1-2 areas where he wanted to improve, and he has improved a lot. Playing at home in Chennai can be tough, but he has adjusted pretty well. He’s a guy who’s always open to conversation, I enjoy having him off the field as well,” he said at the post-match presentation.
In the end, Chennai Super Kings crushed Delhi Capitals by 77 runs to make it to the Indian Premier League play-offs. CSK ended their 14-match league campaign with 17 points and that is good enough to seal a last four berth.
