However, what caught everyone’s attention was something else. Soon after the pictures were shared, fans rushed to the comments section to ask if Devoleena is expecting her first child with her husband, Shanawaz Shaikh. Netizens argued that the actress’ ‘baby bump’ was seemingly visible in the photos. “Gopi bahu tum pregnant ho kya mujhe Kokila bhn ko khuskhabri deni h please btana jarur,” one of the fans wrote. “Is she pregnant?????” added another. Previously, in an interview with E-Times in October 2023, Devoleena gave a befitting reply to trolls and said, “If I had married a wealthy man, I’d have been labelled a gold-digger, and if I married someone like SRK, they would have said usne kaisi ladki se shaadi kar lee.”
“I have understood that people speaking negatively about my marriage are often experiencing issues in their relationships. These individuals wouldn’t appreciate it if someone invaded their personal space, yet are happily doing it to others. Who I choose to be with is my decision, and trolls have no say in it. What matters to me is my partner’s support and loyalty, nothing else. Looks and money don’t define a happy marriage. Ironically, those who comment on my husband’s looks are often the ones against racism and advocating for feminism,” the actress added.
