Despite double wax, two more BTS members test COVID-positive

BTS singer Jin and rapper RM have tested positive for coronavirus, their management agency has said. According to Yonhap, it came a day after Big Hit Music Agency announced that another member of the seven-member K-pop superband Suga had been infected with the virus.

“RM and Jin have been confirmed to be virus positive,” the agency said. He said that RM in particular is not showing any symptoms, but Jin has a mild fever. The agency said that he is being treated at home in compliance with the instructions of health officials.

The members returned home on Friday, November 27-28, after going to Los Angeles and a concert earlier this month. The agency said both RM and Jin had tested negative in earlier clinical trials.

Interestingly, three members completed their second round of COVID vaccination in late August, Big Hit Music said, and none of them had contact with each other or the other BTS members. Their symptoms are either mild or non-existent, reports ‘Variety’.
