Delhi Education Minister Atishi had claimed that CM Arvind Kejriwal would inaugurate the new campus of the university. The LG office claimed that it was to be inaugurated by the LG of Delhi. That is why the Chief Minister changed the date to June 8 instead of May 23. Meanwhile, outside the new campus, BJP supporters raised slogans against CM Arvind Kejriwal. The security forces did not allow them to enter the campus. For the last several days, there is a tussle between the Delhi government and the Lieutenant Governor regarding the inauguration.
