Delhi University Declares Vacant Seats for Final Leg of Undergraduate Admissions

According to a notification released by Registrar Vikas Gupta, this will be the last and final round of undergraduate admission for some selected colleges.

Delhi University on Wednesday announced vacant seats in colleges as part of its final phase of undergraduate admissions for the 2022-23 academic year under a special spot round.

An official said the university has filled 65,000 of its total 70,000 seats in the colleges.

According to the notification released by Registrar Vikas Gupta, this will be the last and final round of undergraduate admission in some of the shortlisted colleges.

“Candidates who applied for CSAS (Common Seat Allocation System) – 2022 and have not taken admission in any college on the date of announcement of Special Spot Admission Round,” Gupta said in a statement .

The second special spot admission round was announced a few days after the conclusion of the first one.

However, candidates who were offered a seat in any of the spot rounds will not be able to participate in the second special spot admission round.

“Upon declaration of this round, the admitted candidates will not be allowed to withdraw their admission,” Gupta said.

In order to be considered for the round, candidates will have to opt for ‘Special Spot – II’ on the website dashboard. The application process, which started on Wednesday, will end on Thursday.

The university has announced that the admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the current academic session will end on Saturday.
