Buses going from Ghaziabad to Shivaji Stadium will go on NH-24, Ring Road and terminate at Bhairon Road. Buses coming from NH-24 will take right turn on Road No. 56 and terminate at ISBT Anand Vihar.

The Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued an advisory on arrangements and restrictions for the smooth conduct of full dress rehearsals for the Republic Day parade on January 23. He told that the rehearsal of the parade will start from Vijay Chowk at 9.50 am on Monday and will go till the National Stadium.

The parade will start from Vijay Chowk, pass through Gate No. 1 to Rajpath, Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate to enter the National Stadium around the Princess Palace, turn left towards Tilak Marg and turn right at C-Hexagon. For smooth running of the parade, traffic will not be allowed on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate from 6 pm on Saturday till the parade ends on Sunday.

“No cross traffic on Rajpath at Rafi Marg, Janpath, Man Singh Road from 11 pm on Saturday till the parade ends. ‘C’-Hexagon-India Gate from 9.15 am on Sunday till the full parade and entry of the tableau. The National Stadium will remain closed for the purpose,” Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Vivek Kishor said.

It said that passengers are advised to avoid the route of the parade from 9 am to 12.30 pm. While there will be no restrictions as of now for people traveling from North Delhi towards New Delhi Railway Station or Old Delhi Railway Station, it is advised to plan their journey well in advance and plan their journey to avoid possible delays. Take enough extra time to reach the destination. to the advisor.

The movement of the city bus services will be curtailed at Park Street/Udyan Marg, Aram Bagh Road (Paharganj), round about Kamla Market, Delhi Secretariat (IG Stadium), Pragati Maidan (Bhairon Road), Hanuman Mandir (Yamuna Bazar), Mori Gate, ISBT Kashmiri Gate, ISBT Sarai Kale Khan and Tis Hazari Court, the advisory said.

Buses coming from Ghaziabad side will be diverted towards Bhopra Chungi for Wazirabad Bridge in Mohan Nagar. It has been said in the advisory that all interstate buses coming from Dhaula Kuan side will terminate at Dhaula Kuan. Metro Rail services will be available for passengers at all stations during the full dress rehearsal ceremony. However, boarding and de-boarding will not be allowed in the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan from 5 am to 2 pm on Saturday.

Flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms such as para-gliders, para motors, hang gliders, UAVs, UAS, microlight aircraft, remotely piloted aircraft, hot air balloons, small size aircraft, quadcopters or para jumping from aircraft is prohibited. National Capital Territory of Delhi from 20.01.2022 to 15.02.2022 (both days inclusive), the advisory said.

Motorists are requested to follow the traffic rules and follow the instructions of the traffic personnel posted at all the intersections. People are requested to plan their travel well in advance and keep enough time with them to avoid inconvenience.
