Delhi Police Chief visits duty point on Holi, interacts with personnel Delhi News – Times of India

new Delhi: Delhi Police commissioner Rakesh Asthana Visited several duty points in the capital on Friday and shared happiness with the personnel deployed for security on Holi, an official statement said.
The police chief also visited the Integrated Checking Picket of the traffic unit and the district police were deployed to check leisure and unruly driving.
Asthana said that adequate security arrangements have been made to ensure peace and harmony during Holi. Sahb-e-BaratAccording to the statement.
Patrols have been intensified and additional forces have been deployed in communally sensitive areas. The statement said that meetings have been held with the peace committees so that both the celebrations can be conducted in a peaceful manner.
It said that senior formations have been directed to ensure maximum visibility on the ground and take action against those who create nuisance or mischief.
