Delhi: Man shoots ex-business partner, surrenders at police station Delhi News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: A 36-year-old man shot and injured his former business partner over a work-related dispute and, following the incident, surrendered at a police station in northwest Delhi, officials said on Saturday.
Manish Kumar, a resident of Kirari, had come Aman Vihar Police At around 11.20 pm on Friday night, the station in-charge told the officials there that he had shot Bharat Lal Sahu (35), a resident of the village. Sultanpuri, They said.
Police officials said that he had a country-made pistol in his hand and his clothes were stained with blood.
Later, the police station received a call at 11.24 pm from a man who said that his brother had been shot near Hanuman Mandir parking lot in Sultanpuri and was admitted to the hospital. Agrasen Hospital In Rohini’s Sector 22, he said.
Sahu told the police that he was called to the parking lot and when he reached there around 9.30 pm, Kumar shot him in the back, a senior police officer said.
Police officials said that he fled the spot and drove to the hospital in his car.
During investigation, it was found that Kumar and Sahu were business partners and were doing property business. The official said that their partnership ended last year due to some differences.
Kumar said Sahu unnecessarily interfered in his property business and lured customers, causing massive financial losses. Thus, he was looking for an opportunity to take revenge, the police said.
