The traditional ‘at home’ function at Raj Niwas ahead of Republic Day on Tuesday saw a warm exchange of words between Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal amid the ongoing power struggle.
Besides Kejriwal, senior JD(U) leader KC Tyagi, BJP MPs Manoj Tiwari, Parvesh Verma, Ramesh Bidhuri and Gautam Gambhir, and AAP MLA Somnath Bharti were also present.

A statement issued from the Lieutenant Governor’s office said that families of martyrs of Delhi Police and Delhi fire personnel, sportspersons, Paralympians, Swachhagrahis, ‘Divyangjan’, priests and religious heads, senior officials of Delhi government and police also participated in the ceremony. .
Officials working “dedicatedly” on major innovative developmental projects like Najafgarh drain cleaning, MCD landfill sites and rejuvenation of Yamuna floodplains, representatives of foreign missions, educationists, doctors, vice-chancellors, lawyers, civil society members were also present . , it added.
