Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has been arrested by the ED. The investigation was going on against Jain in the corruption case. Satyendra is considered very close to Arvind Kejriwal. Immovable properties worth Rs 4.81 crore belonging to his family and firms were temporarily attached following an FIR registered by the CBI under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) two months ago. The CBI had registered the case in August 2017. Later this case was transferred to ED.

4.81 crore was received from shell companies
According to the ED, it was found in the investigation that during 2015-16, Satyendar Jain was a public servant, then companies profitably owned and controlled by him received Rs 4.81 crore from shell companies in lieu of cash transfers to Kolkata-based entry operators through hawala. Had happened. According to the ED report, this amount was used for direct purchase of land or for repayment of loan taken for purchase of agricultural land in and around Delhi.

The name came in front with Dr. Rishi Raj
Documents related to Satyendar Jain and his companies and bank deposit slips worth Rs 2 crore were found in the CBI raid at the residence of Dr. Rishi Raj, Registrar, Delhi Dental Counseling. It was revealed from this that in 2011, two crore rupees were deposited in the name of Jain’s companies. Apart from this, power of attorney of 14 bighas of land was also received in the name of Jain in Karala village of Delhi along with a deed of 12 bighas and 8 bighas of land.
