Delhi government schools directed to introduce patriotic curriculum for classes 9-12 – World Latest News Headlines

Government schools have been directed to conduct classes for the government’s new patriotic curriculum for classes IX to XII.

Last month, the Delhi government launched the Patriotic Curriculum with material for classes VI to VIII and IX to XII.

Heads of schools have now been asked to ensure that two time courses of 30-35 minutes duration each week are allocated in the time table.

The program requires nodal teachers in each school to have a detailed orientation to all the teachers appointed to take these classes.

After the commencement of classes, schools have been asked to maintain a detailed record of the feedback received from the teachers conducting the classes for review at various levels.

The children will not have any textbooks for the classes. Instead, the teacher is to introduce each topic with a central question and act as a facilitator for discussion in which children will express their thoughts and ideas.

As part of the homework, the children will be asked questions on the subject to the older people around them, including their families, and they will be expected to discuss the topic once again with the insights and responses gained while doing their homework. Do it.
