The DoE said that the school authorities were not following the directions issued by the department as well as the High Court and were charging enhanced fees for the session 2021-22 and for the session 2020-21 in violation of various court orders. They were also charging increased fees. Order.

The Directorate of Education further said that complaints were received against the school for depositing increased fees and not deducting 15 per cent on the annual school fees.
DOE directs the school not to increase any fee for the academic session 2018-19 and 2019-20 and withdraw the increased fee and refund or adjust the amount taken over and above the school’s fee structure deposited in 2015-16 was instructed to do. , However, the response of the school was not satisfactory, the order further mentioned.
As DPS Rohini School is located on land allotted by Delhi Development Authority, the school has to take prior approval from the Director (Education) before any fee hike as per the land allotment norms.
