Delhi Court Restrains Shikhar Dhawan’s Estranged Wife From Defaming Him

As per reports, Shikhar Dhawan has filed a petition in the court against his estranged wife Ayesha Mukherjee, claiming that she was threatening him to ruin his career.

The family court directed Dhawan’s estranged wife, an Australian citizen, Ayesha Mukherjee, not to post anything derogatory against Dhawan on social media or say anything that would tarnish his reputation.

Justice Harish Kumar, however, said that if Mukherjee has “genuine” complaints against Dhavan, he cannot be prevented from registering them with the concerned authority.

However, the judge said: “He can certainly be restrained from sharing his complaint against him (Dhawan) with his friends, relatives, party mates and making it public even before it goes to the appropriate authority.”

“Under the circumstances, he is hereby restrained from disseminating any of his complaint against Dhawan or his version of the dispute involved or the alleged defamatory and false material against him on social media, print media or any other platform, until further orders. friends, relatives or colleagues from parties,” Kumar said.
