Surat: Two women employees of a private finance company molested in a busy street Variyali BazaarAllegedly by the kin of a loan installment defaulter whom they had visited for recovery
The women told in their complaint to the police that the accused defaulter was martyred by the woman, her husband. Rehan And brother Afzal AnsariAfter an altercation on Wednesday evening, one of them tried to take off the clothes by tearing them.
Lalgate Police has registered a case of molestation against the accused, whose arrest is yet to be made.
According to the police, the complainant is 25-year-old, who lives in Chowk Bazar area and works as a collection agent in a private finance firm. At around 6.30 pm on Wednesday, she along with her other partner had gone to Pathan’s house in Wariali Bazar to collect the outstanding installment of Rs 10,000. When she was talking to Pathan’s husband Rehan about money, shaheeda came and started abusing both the women. When they warned him not to use abusive words, he attacked them and started beating both of them.
Meanwhile, Afzal also attacked the complainant, tore her clothes and raped her. The victim and her accomplice somehow managed to escape from the spot and saved themselves from further embarrassment. The accused allegedly threatened to kill them if they came again for recovery.
One of the victims lodged the complaint late on Wednesday evening after informing his company officials.
