Struggling for life, acid attack survivor Bala has found a new hope as star actor Deepika Padukone extends a helping hand to save her life.
The acid attack survivor, who is suffering from a life-threatening kidney disease, needs an urgent kidney transplant to survive. After the matter reached Deepika, she donated a generous amount of Rs 10,00,000 for the ‘Save Bala’ campaign.
Bala is a real-life star who, apart from appearing in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, was also featured in the Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Chhapaak’ directed by Meghna Gulzar.
Due to the failure of both her kidneys, her condition is deteriorating day by day and she is somehow living on dialysis. Being an acid attack survivor, his weak immunity is already life-threatening.
Bala still needs more financial help to come out of this tragedy and hence Chhaon Foundation is seeking as much support as possible.
A fundraising campaign named ‘Save Bala’ has been started on the crowdfunding platform ‘Milap’.
