Bollywood Star Deepika Padukone She recently had the time of her life while playing badminton with Tokyo Olympics 2020 medalist PV Sindhu. The actress shared several pictures and videos of them playing the game on Instagram. Deepika, herself a national level badminton player, has been in regular conversation with the top shuttler for the past one month. Deepika had earlier met him at dinner with her husband actor Ranveer Singh.
On Tuesday, Deepika took to Instagram to share a post with Sindhu. She wrote, “Just one regular day in my life… burning calories with @pvsindhu1 (sic).” Ranveer took to the comments section and wrote, “Major FOMO attack!”
Recently Deepika and Sindhu recently had an interesting conversation. The actress shared a makeup free selfie on Instagram. She captioned it, “Post [badminton] Glow!” Sindhu had commented, “After how many calories?”
Earlier, Deepika and Ranveer were seen having dinner with Sindhu in Mumbai. Ranveer also shared a picture of the three of them together on Instagram. He captioned the picture: “Smashing time!” Sindhu had commented, “@ranveersingh @deepikapadukone Lovely spending time with you guys. Looking forward to meeting you soon”.
Meanwhile, Deepika, who is the daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone, also trained to be a badminton player in her youth before becoming a model in Mumbai. Sindhu won bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020. She also became the first Indian woman to win two individual Olympic medals. In addition, she is the second player after Sushil Kumar to win two individual Olympic medals.
On the work front, Deepika will be seen in Kabir Khan’s ’83’ opposite Ranveer. Deepika also has Shakun Batra’s untitled film in her kitty in which she will be seen alongside Ananya Panday and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter in which she will star opposite Hrithik Roshan. The star will be seen again with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathan, which will also feature John Abraham in the lead. He also has The Intern remake with Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.
