Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone came together with the cast and crew of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani to celebrate 10 years of the film’s release.
Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor reunited after the 10th anniversary celebrations of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The couple was joined by other crew members including Kalki Koechlin, Aditya Roy Kapur, director Ayan Mukerji, producer Karan Johar and music director Pritam to celebrate 10 years of YJHD. Ayan shared the pictures of his party on Instagram.
In the first photo, Deepika is seen holding Ranbir close to her and posing with Kalki and Aditya. In the picture that followed, the team posed together for the camera. Sharing the pictures, Ayaan wrote, “Last night ❤️.”
On Wednesday, as Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani completed 10 years, Ayan confessed that he hasn’t watched the film completely in one go, but intends to watch the film at least once every year. “I think after all these years, I can say with confidence that… making this film was one of the greatest joys of my life! And what we accomplished with it – with all its accomplishments and flaws – is a source of great eternal glory to me! Strangely, I don’t think I’ve ever watched Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani completely from start to finish, since the day it released… (always pushing towards the next milestone, and never back enough Watching…!)” he wrote in an Instagram post.
“But when I’m older and wiser – I think I’ll watch the film at least once a year – because a big part of who I was and how I looked at life – was captured forever in this film In recent months, I’ve often seen people recognize me and come up to me… and I think they’ll say something about Brahmastra, and then they start talking about YJHD! So, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani… and a huge thank you to all the people who have been deeply involved with the film over the years!” he added.
