Deepika Padukone will soon be seen in the sports drama 83 which also stars her husband Ranveer Singh in the lead role. With the promotions of the film in full swing, Deepika recently appeared for an interview for Film Companion with film critic Anupama Chopra. The 35-year-old actress shared how she likes to prepare for her role and described the dynamic of her relationship with Ranveer.
Deepika was asked how the power couple of Bollywood decide what to keep private and what not. The actress said that communication plays an important role in her relationship with Ranveer. Deepika said that one of the best things about the couple is that they communicate a lot. “It’s extremely important to us. We can agree and we can disagree but I think when you communicate, it makes marriage a lot easier. I think as far as it’s concerned Well, we were pretty much on the same page. Yes, of course, there are times where he wins and I have to say ‘Okay, take it,'” he said.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their third wedding anniversary last month. The couple got married on November 14, 2018.
Talking about her recent vacation to a quaint place in Uttarakhand for her anniversary, Deepika said, “We wanted to share some part of our life, again there are many fans who keep messaging me that ‘something’ things, post a video or something’.”
She said that they have agreed to share some pictures from their vacation. Deepika said, “We talked about it and we said that they (fans) will be disappointed if we don’t tell anything. So it was for all of you.”
She was spot on, fans loved these pictures. It seemed that the couple had a great time during a really quiet vacation.
Talking about reaching an agreement, Deepika also revealed how there is a more flamboyant side to Ranveer’s personality. She said she tries to “put a leash on him” to ease his energetic side. Deepika also admitted that this is what makes Ranveer’s personality and he should not try to change it.
