The makers of Karavali have released the first character look of Shithil Poojary. In the poster, the debut actor is seen standing with a buffalo.
Prajwal Devaraj is going to treat his fans this year with films like Karavali and Mafia. Karavali has been creating a buzz in the entertainment industry ever since the release of its promo. It is directed by Gurudatha Ganiga who came to fame with the film Ambi Ning Vayassaytho in 2018.
The film, from the looks of it, is touted to be an intense action entertainer that is set to showcase the Tulunadu or Dakshin Kannada district culture. It will also be centred around the sport of Kambala which was briefly shown in Rishab Shetty’s Kantara. The promo showcased the Pajawal Devaraj in Yakshagana makeup. Now, the makers have revealed the actor who will be playing the role of the antagonist in the film. Shithil G Poojary, an actor based in Dubai will be seen in the negative role in the film.
Shithil G Poojary, a Kannadiga from the coastal belt based out of Dubai is set to mark his debut with the film Karavali. The makers have released the first character look of the actor. In the poster, the debut actor is seen standing with a buffalo. While introducing the actor, the makers wrote, “Two animals in one frame–introducing the Shithil Poojary as Vaali.” Hailing from Mangalore, the debutant was selected after the auditions conducted by the director Gurudtha who wanted to introduce a new face to the audience.
The actor loves bodybuilding and has made a superhero physique. The actor has earned several accolades such as Mr Dubai 2019, Best People’s Choice Dubai, and Best Physique Dubai among other international awards. The actor will be seen in a face-off with the actor Prajwal Devaraj in the film. Produced by Gurudatha Ganiga Films in association with VK Films, Karavalli has a plotline written by Chandrashekar Bandiyappa, along with the director. Sachin Basrur is composing the music for the film.
Gurudatha Ganiga was initially supposed to direct Prajwal Devaraj’s upcoming Mafia. He was later replaced with Lohith H. At that time, he revealed that he would be working with the director on a different story. It turned out to be Karavali. The release date of the film has not been announced yet.
